what crypto do you use to pay?
Crypto.Com card, you pay with normal currencies (SGD/AUD) but requires a CRO stake (crypto.com's coin). The amount you stake determines your tier, base tier is ~$200 AUD i think and gives free spotify and 2% cashback

the stablecoin returns are what i really like, esp with my tier its 14% on TAUD if you lock up for 3 months. free amazon prime, Netflix and spotify also nice :)

10% cashback for specific merchants is not available anymore but the rest is valid except they moved from their old token (MCO) to CRO
I got the ruby, I managed to make my money back from referrals (1 when I signed up and 1 when someone used my code) and the 10% cashback when they had it. My stake is worth about a third of what I paid, even with the bonus they gave. I was prepared for my stake to be worth nothing, but figured I could make my money back so it would be fine.
The 2% cashback and free Spotify together with the initial stake if there's anything left next month put me in front. I might just leave it in there given I've made my money back and get free Spotify, the 2% is a bit meh. Maybe one day it will be worth a tiny bit more.
Also they weren't willing to assist with a chargeback when the merchant was ignoring me and had kept charging me after I cancelled. I finally got it sorted with the merchant after more than a month, but I know NAB for example will assist as needed.
Also for a while I couldn't top up my card while they switched providers. I don't really recommend them. I think getting in early this year was one of the best times and would have gotten the 6 months of 10% off. I signed up in July and it worked out okay. If you sign up now you're just keeping your fingers crossed CRO actually goes up one day.
Mate do not spruik this. Crypto.com has possibly made the worst decisions possible for their business the last 6 months. It has resulted in the price of CRO taking a catastrophic dive. Anyone that has held this card would be deep in the red. You are doing a disservice to the ozbargain community.
How does it feel to lose 50% value in the last 6 months?

The transactions may take a bit of time to clear, so I think I'd skip as I have plans to max out my $500 credit limit this Saturday.

@lgacb08: turn the setting of NFC —> Secure element Position —> HCE Wallet that will work….
HCE is the least secure option but some device work with that
If you care about privacy or security, use one of the other two, that's the less secure .
Sim card uses your sim as the secure element and the other uses a virtual one provided by Google, depending on your carrier, I would choose the sim card one.

Did you try with the GPay App open? That worked for me after initially failing to register.
Happened to me. You need to set Gpay as default instead of samsung pay. Then enjoy the 10% on saturdays

If you're referring to this deal then you can only redeem in lots of $30, so you'll have $90 in return unless you spend another $200 elsewhere

Not really necessary, most people on OzBargain would already have accumulated reward dollars from the 10% Cashback Super Saturdays and are most likely going to accumulate more from the upcoming 2 Saturdays left

I just got petrol from BP just now and noticed only 3% cash back
I bought a $100 gift card yesterday and can confirm 5% from BP service station
Two things:
After my spend at BP - I noticed only 3% added to my rewards balance
The BP spend shows up in recent transactions but it doesn’t show up at all when I go to view recent rewards activity
So I call up Zip today, and the guy says it “can take up to 7 days”
So I asked - why was only 3% added to my balance?
And the guy says “rewards above the normal 3% will get added separately”
I’ve never heard of the extra 2% being added separately at a later date and the 10% for the super saturdays have always been paid immediately in full - and not the 3% paid first and 7% separately on a later date.
Have anyone else heard of such thing?

you can top up your zip balance using Bpay
do not do overpayment using Bpay - your zip acc will be temporarily locked and you need to contact customer service to unlock it.

Instant, but purchases need to finalise before you can make a payment, which can take 3 days.
