Any details of the battery - can it withstand summer temperatures?
All Navman Mivue use capacitors afaik.
Thank you jammy2006.
how about this? https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/navman-mivue745-2-7-dash-…
745 would be great as a dashcam. 765 has additional camera warnings, lifetime camera updates and wifi.
Got 1 thanks
This or viofo?
I had the same decision to make. Went with Navman.
The Navman only saves 3 seconds before you press the button. So by the time you react whilst driving to the situation and then press the button when safe to do so, you'll be lucky to save enough footage for it to be any use.
None of the safety features seemed to work for me, so I ended up turning them all off to avoid false alerts.
To top it off I submitted the JB HiFi Tax Invoice and they just declined the cashback claim stating "Confirmation order not accepted. Require paid tax invoice. ". The printout I got from my JB HiFi account specifically said it was a tax invoice….
Was prepared to just put up with the other issues but will be taking it back to JB now for a refund instead and will go purchase a Viofo.
It says $199 ($169 after cashback) when I go, did I miss something?

I have one of these Mivue, it's an older model. Got it at the same price 2 years ago and I'm very happy with the product. Has integrated GPS(tracks you coordinates and speed), can sense the G-force if there is an impact, also parking mode available with a power box(if that's the name for it). If you don't wont to spend too much on a dash cam I can highly recommend these.
