Spotted this modem/router. This was released start of the year.
Its got Super VDSL, which enables 350Mbps down.
Usually retails for $250.

Just a heads up, this device uses a MediaTek chipset.
Though some have also reported Broadcom chipset.

Great features, tossing between this and the VR2800.
Took a punt and grabbed this, only due to the Super VDSL.

    Yes, I get stable 350/250 in Melbourne CBD on 400/250 (limited by my router) plan via NBN FTTP and there's 1000/400 plan as well. Launtel.

      FTTP is not VDSL. Only FTTN/FTTB

  My NBN (FttN) can only sync at max 23mbs (damn you Macolm Turnbull)… I use a technicolor 789v3 and tp-link TD-W9970 and they both work +/- the same. TP a little faster dl and slower up.
  Purchased the TP-Link VR2100 ($168 OW price match) ~2 months ago and couldn't get it to even connect.

  Online everyone says it's a MediaTek, but Superloop support said it had a Broadcom chipset… I believe it has a MediaTek.

    I remember when the company I work for used to sell VR500's and they had syncing issues once NBN came out. We specifically swapped customers to VR1600's as they were Broadcom - problem gone. I dare say its the same issue?

  There seems to be ongoing issues w/TP-Link deserting their hardware (no firmware updates). Happened to me with their Archer D7/AC1750.
