Beat me to it
Do they come precooked or not? Most of the recipies i see are for raw lobsters.
Precooked at Coles Mount Ommaney (QLD) for $17 today and had plenty of stock at 3pm when Woolies in same centre sold out at 9am. Were only 400-420g though…
The $17 Coles ones might be Canadian Lobsters, not WA. at least they were at our local (NSW)
Were Canadian lobsters today bought at Coles
Just curious how does it make sense to import lobsters from Canada and export ours to China etc? Is there a huge difference in quality or size etc?
They are from different families of lobster but I'm not sure your regular Coles lobster shopper is that discerning.
We should all thank our Chinese overlords for this. Thank you Xi Jinping.
This means they are the same price at Girrawheen as well
For anyone not aware of the back story… there's only 35 tonnes to go around but these WA lobsters will be in Woolies stores all around the country just in time for Christmas.

Larger cooked ones for $19.99
Pretty soon, we might get some lobster freebies for Chrissie. Advanced thanks to our masters of (trade) war.
We were at a party
His earlobe fell in the deep
Someone reached in and grabbed it
It was a rock lobster
