ACCC maybe confuse on the eBay search function. It does not make any sense at all.
The long con. If you make it difficult enough to search for deals, then you won’t know what is price jacked and what isn’t.
Though in fairness eBay and Kogan are very different. One has direct control over pricing and the other just jacks up prices every sale.

The idea of a code is to get something cheaper. The idea is that it is supposed to take price off of the retail. If you hike a price above retail then apply a code to get it back to retail….well isn't that price jacking? How many phones do they sell for 20% above retail?
