None of those were unnecessary at all, nice stalking there though. Your life is clearly rich and fulfilling.

Please include a proper description of why you are voting negative. Votes accompanied by unclear reasons or inaccurate reasons may be revoked. eg +1, yea, as above, agreed, ditto …. ?? etc. If you simply agree with someone else's justification on their negative vote and have no further comments, you can simply not vote and report the deal.

As with the majority of the negs these days…. many of your negs offer no information about alternative deals, no links to better deals, etc etc.
All we are getting is your opinion on a particular deal, which is not helpful.

        • I refer to my comment about how rich and fulfilling your life is.
Not going into great detail with why I'm giving the neg =/= the neg being unnecessary. As you can see (which you probably already have with your stalking ways) most of those negs are for bargains that have received copious amounts of negative votes already. Yes I could simply not vote as you pointed out, but there's no fun in that. I'm entitled to vote if I don't think it's a bargain. I also see it as being incredibly helpful as the more negs a non-existent bargain gets, then the less time it will spend filling up people's pages as most people likely have their settings set to bargains with 5 or more negative votes not appearing on their search feed, which again is why it is being helpful down voting it even if I have nothing new to contribute.

TLDR version: If you don't like my negative votes, then report them and let a mod deal with them if you think they are against the guidelines. Otherwise, suck it up and continue living the most interesting life known to mankind.

        • I also see it as being incredibly helpful as the more negs a non-existent bargain gets, then the less time it will spend filling up people's pages as most people likely have their settings set to bargains with 5 or more negative votes not appearing on their search feed, which again is why it is being helpful down voting it even if I have nothing new to contribute.

          again…. read the guidelines

In essence the negative vote is a warning. A warning about being a scam, spam, defective product or a better deal exists already.

If someone has information about a product or a retailer that is important, then a whole crowd of 'me too' neggers will make the post disappear, along with what might be crucial information. The negative vote is intended to be useful for ozbargainers, informing them of better deals or poor product/retailers. It is not meant to be an opinion poll, or an opportunity to swipe at particular posters or retailers.

          Such an unnecessary neg

Clearly you too share my concerns about inappropriate negative voting. Perhaps we can form some sort of campaign……… However, we need to ensure our own houses are in order before striking forth.

Your life is clearly rich and fulfilling.

Thanks for the observation, but it's really not relevant to our struggle. Perhaps we might explore it further down the track……

        • Good work with ignoring the If you don't like my negative votes, then report them and let a mod deal with them if you think they are against the guidelines. Otherwise, suck it up and continue living the most interesting life known to mankind. comment. Clearly this is nigh impossible for you to do because without you policing the bargains day and night, you'd have nothing to live for!

Yes I realise this comment is quite late to the party and you likely won't read it.. But You just might. You might also look through every comment you've made for replies in your quest to police the boards..

        • even later to the party… but….

If you don't like my negative votes, then report them and let a mod deal with them

In your non-reading of the guidelines, you may have missed

Currently, (individual) negative votes are not being removed by moderators.

          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

It's much better for people to make proper use of the negative vote, than to give unnecessary neg votes…. as indeed you pointed out earlier in the thread…… Education is the key… :)

continue living the most interesting life known to mankind.

Thanks…. I wouldn't say it was the most interesting….. but it has had it's moments….. although I still fail to see what my life, interesting or otherwise, has to do with any of this

Woolworths doesnt sell booze in QLD

  • If it were 2 for $40 I'd have a lot of beach tents around here. I love Sol (better than Corona IMHO) but 2 for $80 is pretty standard pricing, I've seen it under $40 for 1 case plenty of times. Only good if you want the tent.

  • Details on the tent????

  • are these like the previous woolworths promotions where if you take the tent to the counter it will scan up as $0.01? =P

  • +1

Would these scan in at 1 cent like other woollies promo products. Just have to get them out of the bottle shop and into the self serve registers.

  • Anyone else see the connection between Mexican beer and a tent?

  • Picked up 2 slabs for $75 dollars with the tent at Safeway vermont this morning
