Decent deal OP. Currently $503.98 @ M-wave and $648 @ Hardly Normal. I'm holding out until they release the 64/128Tb portable.

  • showing as $409.72

The Samsung T7 and Crucial deal is better (if they are still live) with double the speeds for a bit more.

Why could anybody move around with 2tb data? USB is too much enough.

"Why could anybody move around with 2tb data? USB is too much enough."

These are very popular with photographers. They are excellent for moving large RAW image files off digital cameras to a portable storage device like this PLUS they have very high transfer speeds so you can move them later onto your PC or Mac. 2TB of data space is perfect for that purpose. They are also offer good backup security when you are on the move.

I have both brands (the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD and Samsung T5's). Both are excellent and fit for purpose. Now waiting for decent prices on the Sammy T7 Touch 2TB for my next upgrade.
