I have one of these and think they are great. Aside from using it to wash the car I also put detergent in it and use it to wash other things.

    • +18

you must list these other things

        Cat/dog?

If you have young children it's great for clean up after dinner time. Just hit the dining table, the chairs, the dishes and the kids all in one go.

        It's a great time saver.

        • +5

only use it to clean the inside of my computer

          • @GregFiona: I've seen a lady wash her car, then open the doors, and wash the inside of them, too. Hose, sponge, all same equipment.

        • I thought ya not allowed to hit kids, anymore?

      • +1

We use ours for cleaning windows around the house - dilute the cleaning product down a load, spray on, scrub with a broom and hose it off. Easy as.

        • What kind of cleaning products do you use for windows?

          • +1

@ChickenDinner123: I use the same snow cannon mix as the cars, the broom does the heavy lifting in any case.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered.

  • Great deal.

Any idea which model they are referring to by Ryobi #2?

  • +4

Generic ones off eBay are almost half the price of this

    • Are these any good? They blow a thick foam?

      • +5

I’ve got the second one I’ve listed, yes.

        • Awesome thanks.

      • +2

Yeah, I've be bought the cheap no name ones with brass fittings off eBay and it's lasted year's and produces thick foam.

        • Great, I will order one today. Thanks

        • +1

Do I need a pressure washer? Or can I use a garden hose purchased from k-mart?

          • +1

@wmxc: Yes you do, and you need to choose the appropriate fitting for your brand of washer. They usually give you a huge selection.

            • @sAmiZZle: damn :(. Don't want to spend on pressure washer :/

              • @wmxc: Yea, me too. But it seems to be an OZB favourite

              • -1

@wmxc: You see gerni's come up on here every now and then really cheap around $150. Alternatively you can just buy a manually pressurized spray can from Bunnings or the likes. I've seen AmmoNYC use these a lot on cars worth 100s of thousands of dollars and at the end of the day you just need the snow foam to sud up enough to sit on the car to loosen dirt without damaging the surface.

      • I've got one and there fantastic. Just make sure to get the right connection for your pressure washer is all

      • +3

If you abstain for the whole of November.

    • +2

Repco one has a lot more attachments though so good if you might be switching pressure washers in the future.

    • +4

This one comes with the soap.

    • +1

This deal gives you the washing foam too.

  • +1

I'd probably just go the cheapest one you can find.

If you're after a good foam Lance then go MJJC or Trinova or MATCC Foam Cannon III.

    • Do you happen to know how the MATCC III compares with the old II version, other than the wider neck?

  • +2

From the thumbnail I thought I'd be washing with a crucifix.

  • Does it show up as $59 for anyone else?

    • +1

Scroll down and it's $39 for the combo.

  • What wash do people use in their snow cannons? Any rec's?

    • +3

      My routine is:
      - pressure wash with water all around to loosen big chunks of dirt
      - apply snow job (bowens) all over the car using foam cannon
      - let it settle for 10 minutes
      - wash off
      - apply meguiars gold class all over the car using foam cannon (effectively half the amount of car shampoo I'd usually put in a bucket)
      - shampoo the 4 sides of the car using 4 different wash mitts (top to bottom)
      - wash off

Whole process takes 30 Min max. Uses much less water as well.

      • +1

        No towel dry?

        • Microfibre drying towel is my last step. One direction only

      • i'm thinking i'll adopt a similar routine.. saves having to lug two 10 litre buckets around the car too

  • Does the snow contain PFAS?

  • Would this fit the Stanley pressure washer?

    • I read a comment in google search that black&decker and stanley are the same fittings.

What do people use to wash their snow cannons? another snow cannon? but how do you wash that one?

  • Thanks OP, wanted to buy but getting below:

"An item for your deal is not available or does not match a selected vehicle."

My store is set to Blacktown. I checked another one nearby but no luck.

    • +1

Had the same issue - both the cannon and the Hyper wash needs to be in stock at the selected store (had to try with a lot of stores).

    • Same. The closest one that has both is too far away for me to bother. Shipping is $10.mayne worth it but… I'm not sold.

  • OOS in Metro Melb

  • +2

Just bought one from my local.
Really well setup and they have a complete set of attachments in a blister pack, covers both my Bunnings Homelite and my Gerni.
The 2l bottle of wash makes it a better deal and effectively drops the price to below the items on ebay, particularly since the connectors are worth a bit.

  • Seems out of stock in Vic and NSW.

  • OOS In Vic

  • Does anyone know if this will work on the Ozito Pressure Washer?

  • I think all gone

  • +1

Make sure the cannon comes with all of the attachments/accessories! Picked mine up and it was missing all accessories (luckily I checked there and got it replaced) - probably a return.

    • Where in Sydney did you get yours from?

      • +1

Picked mine up at Ellenbrook (WA).

  • I have the Aldi pressure cleaner - does anyone know the type of nozzle it would use and does this snow cannon come with it?

    • Aldi pressure cleaner comes with a snow foam cannon

  • Picked one up yesterday in store, great deal. Was going to pay $59 for the cannon by itself last week but held off.

The main benefit over the other brands is that this one comes with 4 different adapters for different brand pressure washers, other foam cannons generally only come with a karcher attachment and make u purchase adapters seperately.

  • Just purchased at Repco Max Logan City so there must be stock around places still.

  • Doesn't seem to be any stock in Adelaide.
Mind you their website is a POS for changing stores and seeing where stock is.

  • Sigh they gave me the wrong foam cannon.

They need to order me another one from a different store.

    • At least you got it. Mine was all oos in all the stores near me.
