Was looking to buy another one of these watches as my current one works great. Saw JBHIFI at them on special for $219 and the lower model for $194. Then I found Good guys was doing them for $179. Apparently RRP is $399 according to the Good Guys. They are usually found for around $300. Comfortable to wear and 25+ Day battery life. Notifications work I would say 95% of the time

95% notifications isn't a great endorsement. Is it a problem across the board, or with particular apps?
SMS, Phone notifications work 100% for me.
However, I try not to put too many notifications (you'll get distracted) so can't comment other than above.
Been a couple times where a notifications hasn’t come through on iOS. Realistically probably happens occasionally with all smart watches for iPhone unless you have an Apple Watch.
I reckon I still have less than 95% notifications on iOS. It's gotten better over the past 2 years though as the firmware gets upgraded.
I only use the Call and SMS notifications, however have never had them fail while I've had my phone with me.
When I've been away from my phone, and only just come back, I think the Bluetooth hasn't immediately connected again, and the notifications won't come through in those situations.
Same price on amazon
25+ Days Battery Life sounds a lot.
This is true. Mine goes sometimes longer than that
Is this the Sapphire version?
Looks nice!
Do McDonald's notifications come through?
I can highly recommend this watch. Long battery life and the accompanying Health Mate were the biggest pros but no WithingsPay is the biggest negative.
Unfortunately, this watch is now superseded by the new ScanWatch which I have now seen in JB Hifis and they look slightly bigger than this but has Sp02, ECG, Sleep Apnoea detector capability.
The new watch is like $500 though
Agree. I’d be buying the new one for the functionality. It’s the same price at Amazon by the way https://www.amazon.com.au/Withings-Steel-HR-Sport-Multi-Spor…
Same, I love this watch. Have had it for 2 years now. However, I'd be buying the ScanWatch for the sapphire glass which this one doesn't have. I've put a big scratch through it which is annoying enough that it's only a matter of time before I upgrade!
is the sleep Apnoea detection real? In the US it requires FDA approval before they can sell that feature.
They've got it in France. https://www.mobihealthnews.com/news/emea/withings-announces-…
It's only a matter of time for TGA to approve it. Btw, Withings also have the Sleep Mat that does the same thing https://www.withings.com/au/en/sleep and that is TGA approved.
