[PS5] PlayStation Plus February 2021 - Destruction AllStars @ PlayStation

920

This was announced in October but it couldn't be posted here due to being over 90 days out from release.

Along with announcing the Destruction AllStars delay, Sony also confirmed that the game will be made a part of the PS5 PlayStation Plus lineup in February 2021. An exact date wasn't announced, but it was made clear that PS Plus subscribers will have two months to claim Destruction AllStars. This could be an indication that PS5 games will be a part of PS Plus for two months at a time instead of the normal one month, but this could also be a special exception made for Destruction AllStars. this game looked like garbage in the trailer. clipping issues all over the place. great they made it free nobody payin $80 for this sh1t

sony have had some bangers thus far but godfall and this are generic launch titles with 60% metacritic a'la ps3 and ps4 launch days.

    • Agreed. Bugsnax was pretty crap as well after all the hype which made sense to make it free too.

Bugsnax didn't seem that hyped outside the intentionally ironic GotY meme.

I really enjoyed Bugsnax - maybe cause I went in expecting it would be terrible and it was a pleasant surprise.

        Bugsnax is amazing game!

      • I loved Bugsnax, its a bit off putting at first but very entertaining and fun

    • The pre-orders started at $119 if I remember correctly. Thought it looked like a budget title since the beginning.

    • Retail was $125. Not $80. They would have seen 2 pre-orders world wide and changed it

    • Godfall is not a PlayStation game.. It's a timed Exclusive to release on all platforms after 6 months

      • They still boasted it as a launch title. And… it sucks on both PC and PS5.

        • And it's going to suck when it releases on Xbox lol

          • @Justin9mm: very true. flaws in that game are at the core - combat, levelling, difficulty

maybe they'll have the stutter during combat fixed by the time it releases on xbox

I actually was considering paying full price for this, just because it is my kind of stupid game. So happy they made this choice!

      paying full price

You better hand in your OzBargain badge immediately!

      • considering paying full price

I believe that's just a warning for a first offense.

  • Completely agree with the trailer looking shitty/tacky. Hoping it proves to be wrong as I love this kind of game. Though would be much happier with a Modnation 3.

Ubisoft made a similar game earlier, played the beta on pc, cant remember the name

I will definitely have to look into that

      • +1

Roller Champions is the game you're referring to I think

        • Yeah mate, just had a look at Ubisoft wiki and then remembered it was that game, its similar to destruction all stars, without cars and f2p

@yummycoot: Gives a strong Rocket League vibe for me which I like. Definitely will check it out especially since it will be free to play. Would be nice if it has track create though but I'm doubtful

Here at 'in 62 days'. Best use of the reminder feature in a while haha!

  • I'm interested to see how this one comes together, has some interesting ideas. By the lack of gameplay we've seen I wouldn't be surprised to see it delayed beyond February.

  • Great game, but lag is horrid. No Australian servers.
