    I do like bit defender…..

I run my own lab grabbing random executables, running them in air-gapped networks and logging the results.

I was the one who identified nehatquanglan.exe as the original executable of the 'newfolder.exe' virus in like 2009.

BD is one of the few whos heuristic engine actually seems to catch unknown samples.

Before the "windows defender is enough" crowd get here; yes, its fine, if you want to protect from the 95% of KNOWN virii and malware. Just use email and browse "the web" ? It'll do fine.

If you're the darkweb type who lives and breathes uncle torrence, i'd say BD is worth it.

    Lighter on resources too!

Also, GDPR data laws means that whatever metadata its scrubbing, while still there, isn't open slather for every other 'approved company' like a US product.

All in all, if you need more than the average joe; this would be my pick.

    • thank you for your input

  • Doesn't seem to include an offer for my existing BD Premium Security subscription.
    Might have to switch packages.

  • Does this stack onto existing Total Security subs?

    • BD is pretty good about stacking subs, as long as it is the same product.
I have several years stacked from Dealrious

      • Did you stack on top of Total Security or Family Pack? Does stacking this mean that the remaining Total Security subscription will be upgraded to Family Pack?

        • no it doesn’t upgrade, I just purchased this and the family pack licenses is activated and added alongside total security as a new product. i had just a few months left only my total security so it was worth the upgrade to get more devices.

    Extended my subscription! Thanks!

  • I still have 952 days left… I might skip this one! ;)

  • Damm, now I need a bigger family.

    • You can go halfs with someone
Cause yeah I will only need 7 devices max hah

  • +1

    good deal.

I normally get 5 devices total security at a discounted rate of $29.95

this brings it down to 15 devices per year at $20.

If only I stacked 50 years from newegg deal 10 years ago when it was $6 a year haha

  • It's also on Newegg for same price with a coupon code and 0.7% cashback but I figured not worth it haha for like 50 cents

  • Great price, thank you.
