  • These or QC35-II?

      XM3s

      • Picked up those for ~$257 shipped w/unidays + GCs, good price.

        • GC’s???

    • Definitely 700, better design and comfort. But be aware of the software issues. 700 has lot of software issue especially when multiple devices are connected. Otherwise its a good product.

      • I think it is better now. I have bose 700, it used to be that I always have issue using it with Windows jumping on Teams call. Haven't faced any issue recently.

        • I had this issue with Bose soundwear if connected to more than one device.
It announced device lost and reconnected at the same time, was really annoying, is that the issue you had?
I’m just using with windows of now and seems to stay connected without any issues.

QC35 is more comfortable. The clamping force is stronger on the 700.

Both have firmware issues of some sort. I would personally wait and see what they come up with next year if you insist on getting a bose.

That XM4 deal for $299 the other day was a killer deal.

        • Got the xm4 but only because of the price. Else I'd have gone for the 700 (got one on launch day but the missus loves it so.. thats that). Love the limited edition blue colour though.

        • Hi mate, where did tou get it for $299?

    • Neither

    • As long term user of both models, this is better sound isolation but qc 35 is more comfortable for long use, something like 4-5 hours range.

    • I would recommend Bose 700 as I have been using it for the past 3 months regularly and did not come across any software related issues reported by various people. The only thing is that it warms my ears after 3 hours of usage but that is expected, I suppose…

      • if you go to the Bose forums, they are widely reported. Multiple issues, acknolwedged by Bose but they have done nothing about them.

        • There was a very recent firmware update that is supposed to fix the reported issues, but once again, I did not come across any of those with my headset

Sony WH-1000XM4 $299 for ebay plus member on black Friday

  • kinda torn, bose 700 or xm4?

    • bose for its nice shape
xm4 has not much been improved compared to xm3, you may call it xm3.5

      • bose for its nice shape

literally thinking of getting bose just for its design and premium look lmao

call me stoopid if ya want

    • if you can get an XM4 for the same price, get that.

The only edge the 700 has over the XM4 is better mic quality, but the XM4 has a lot more edges over the 700.

      • really? I have an xm4 already, sounds good and all but it’s getting a bit warm around my ears after a while. I got xm4 for around $350. Will see how bose goes. If good then will sell xm4

        • really? I have an xm4 already, sounds good and all but it’s getting a bit warm around my ears after a while.

That will happen on the 700 as well. I took it on a 16 hour flight and had to take multiple breaks. The ANC was good though.

          • @lostn: Well I’ll see.. thanks for the feedback.

got em for $338 with 8% gift cards
