I purchased this a while back but still haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I've heard from several people that it's really good. Much better than the more recent sequel apparently.

    Not too sure man… PS4 is more powerful than the Switch but the game doesn't look overly demanding.

    I think it runs at 60 frames on PS4 vs 30 frames on Switch, also a higher resolution on PS4 but it's honestly negligible.

    Just for specifics on what others said.

    If you have PS4 Pro (or PS5 probably) you can run it 4k@30fps, 1440p@60fps or PS4 1080p@60fps.

    Switch is like 720p@30fps.

  Can anyone comment on how good the remaster is compared to the original? I have the original and plan to play through during the holiday break, but could be convinced to replace it with this.

    most notable probably is that the ps3 is 30fps and on ps4 version it's 60fps at 1080p. content wise it's the same and you get all the dlc.
