  • Got mine in the recent deal for $49 which included $10 off for using Afterpay. Have to say, super happy with it so far!

  • I also got the $49 deal, I have owned the sonicare top model and can honestly say I prefer this. The oscillation seems to be such a better method than the alternatives.
Although I think if you were to hold it down with the same pressure as a normal toothbrush you'd probably wear your teeth down. I just hold the brush against my teeth with my thumb and forefinger.

  • So cheap now.

Your $10 off code didn’t work through the app and the price in your title does not include GST.

  • +1

I reckon this is the sweet spot of the Oral B toothbrushes. Just enough useful features, but without unnecessary faff to complicate it.

    • How does this compare to Oral-B Pro 700 Limited Edition which is reduced to $49 from $99? Want to get for my 10 year old girl.

      • +2

I wouldn't recommend Oral-B Pro 700 as it has NiMH batteries which don't last very long and degrade quickly. Same as the cheaper vitality $25 brushes.

The major advantage of this brush is the lithium battery. Apart from that it's pretty similar.

      • +1

2000 has Li battery, more power, a lower-speed mode (could be good for a 10yo's gums) and the visual overpressure light.

On the other hand, the 700 is currently $39 BF price at Bing Lee.

        • Thanks. I think I just got the last one before it's OOS.

  • Does this use the replacable heads you can buy from coles/woolworths?

    • Yeah, it comes with cross action brush head, you can refill it with that or any other type of the normal ones you see sold at supermarkets, chemists, Amazon etc.

Oral-B Pro 2, 2000 electric rechargeable toothbrush is compatible with the following replacement toothbrush heads: Cross Action, 3D White, Sensitive Clean, Precision Clean, Floss Action, Tri Zone and Gum Care.

  • got it with $10 off the app. Been using the vitality so it'll be good not to charge it every second day. Does anyone know if this will work with the charger from the vitality?

    • +1

I'm 95% sure it's the same charger yes, I haven't tried it but it looks exactly the same as the vitality one did. When you flip it over you'll should see the same model number as your vitality charger.

    • +2

Yes, they all use the same charger. These take a bit longer for a full charge, but a charge lasts a couple weeks or more. With the stronger motor as well these are 100% worth the extra over the Vitality.

  • Way way better than the entry level Oral-B electrics. Highly recommend.

  • This or the half price pro 800 at woolies this week… 5 bucks difference…

Also confused why RRP of pro 2000 is $79 on amazon while RRP of pro 800 is 100 bucks at woolies… assuming 2000 is the more advanced model

    • +1

Pro 2000 is way better due to its lithium battery

The normal RRP of pro 2000 is $159.99. It's just on sale everywhere at the moment at $79, but it's not the RRP of this model

      • Nice, ordered 2. Thanks!!!

  • I am getting code not valid on the APPONLY10 code even though I am eligible. Is it not valid anymore?

    • what device did you try it on? it didn't work on the app for my ipad but it worked on the app on my android phone

      • Good idea. I was on android and didn't work, but iPad didn't either. I must not be eligible even though it says I am.

  • I bought the Oral B Vitality for $20 as first time users of electric tooth brushes for me and missus.

How do these expensive ones compare to the entry level ones? I see Philips ones costing $150+

Been brushing manually all our lives and there hasn't been any issues… would these classify as luxury products?

    • Biggest thing for me was the crappy NiMH battery vs Li. NiMH battery after a while doesn't hold charge and needs charging almost daily.

    • These are waaayyyy better than the Vitality models.
Well, maybe not waaayyyy better, but better nonetheless.

  • +1

Blue in stock for $55 instead of the black - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0794LJHRS

    • No travel case though. I'll mention it in the description however.

    • No travel case but not a problem.

Thanks for this - had it in my cart first time around when it went out of stock!

  • Black is back in stock (2 left at time of posting)
