this is the only SW film I haven't seen. I read that it bombed so hard they canceled the planned Boba Fett movie, which I was actually looking forward to seeing.
I actually really enjoyed it. It's good fun.
i might have been put off by the actor playing Solo not looking anything like Harry Ford.
I liked it too. Kinda good old fashioned comfortable movie vibe.
The star wars stories (rogue one and solo) are better than the sequals in every way. Solo was the weak of the two but i still enjoyed it for the most part. It's crazy to me that it cost $300M to produce though, I didnt think the graphics were particularly stunning.
Totally agree. Rogue one was fantastic. I took a while to see Solo because it got panned but still enjoyed it more than the sequals!

Same i put it off for ages and when i sat down to watch it … i was like MEH.. was expecting a movie like Rogue one but it wasnt anything like Rogue one and the whole movie was meh… nothing i will ever want to sit down and watch a second time… not even in 4k HDR :) for $8
