4 dollars is a big deal to you? It's time to take a break from ozbargain mate.

      • +21

Was only trying to fit in lulz

        • +7

Don't feel bad mate. I totally got your humour. Too bad Essent1al can't see the funny side of it.

          • -7

@Slayer1337: How do you know he was being humorous? See a lot of people comment like this lately, crying over a couple of bucks.

            • +4

              @essent1al: Oh dear.. :)

            • @essent1al: do you always over-analyse everything?

            • +3

@essent1al: You really don't know who has what finances and a 'couple bucks' could mean the difference between affording something and going over budget. Just cus you have the privileged to not care doesnt mean you go around being an asshat lmao even if it was a joke this time u dont know if you could be saying that to someone who is insecure already. Lame honestly.

            • @essent1al: Get a life bro.

It's time to take a break from ozbargain mate.

Nice try, that's how people lose $4.

        • Part of the reason why i browse ozbargain so frequently is to save myself a buck or two…

The other reason is for the epic comments like these which seriously makes me lol. I love aussie humour.

  • Looks pretty study

      Great for when I sturdy.😉

  • Size: 1400 x 660 x 750mm

its about as cheap as you're going to get for the money

    • Thats pretty much a standard desk size, although for same price ive seen solid wood desks of similar size.

      • You've seen $100 solid wood desks of a similar size?

        • Not 100, the ~140 this is. You could even build one cheaper, probably $90 for the same size.

          • +1

@Jenny Death: I do get ya… bunnings has laminate panels for like $50 $60 and you can get ikea legs for $5 but its not a gaming table i guess

  • Real carbon fibre or fake plastic carbon fibre?

    • +1

for $135 and china spec what do you think?

its just a vinyl contact laid onto chipboard

  • Should i pull the trigger? Looks pretty cheap vs other tables on kogan and ikea

  • +1

It is only 60 cm deep. That may be OK for gaming, but not work/study.

Go to a second hand store and buy an ex office desk.

    • Yeah but this is delivered.

      • It compares well with other Gaming desks, cheap and slightly larger.

The cheap Ikea/Officeworks Computer desk/hutch are about the same size.

Second hand they are give aways in my area, as they are not pleasant to use.
Notes, lamp, multi monitor (in my case laptop and 3d printer). Every thing takes up desk real estate.

Setting the monitors back far enough without them becoming unstable is essential.

        • What desk do you have?

          • +1

@King Steuart: I have an ex office desk, typical of the era. wood look laminate sides and modesty, 3 draws, heavy 'leather look' top. 900x1800. Cost less than an Ikea desk, delivered.
It has way too much on it. 2 monitors, lamp, laptop, 3d printer, google 5", and the parts for the last few projects I have not completed..
power board mounted on modesty, and hooks for shadow board on the end. - was networking equip

But have to de-clutter as I am doing online proctored exam this week. (free c/o Ozbargain!)

Well it is advertised as a gaming desk

    • +2

Deeper is better if you have somewhere to accommodate it..

  • It’s a hard pass from me, no RGB.

  • How big is the misleading monitor in the picture? Like 10" ?

  • Didn't need one, but got one anyway. The carbon fibre should give me an 5% extra fps boost.

  • I've been checking out the Kmart one. Anyone got one? There's no reviews that I can find.

I bought one today. Very easy to setup, it took me about half hour to assemble. It has holes in the legs for wiring, including hooks under the table. The LED's are good, which are on the back and sides and also comes with a remote. For $130, I thought it's pretty good value.

      • +1

its 1,200 vs 1,400 of the OP

the $99 officeworks one is 1,500

IMO 1,200 is good for one monitor up to say 28"?

        • I have a 28" on the desk and fits good and gives me enough room for keyboard, mouse and speakers. I'm not sure how it would go with a bigger monitor or more than one, but I guess it may have problems

  • +1

Interesting desk, not sure about that gaming handle rack though. Too bad the height is not adjustable.

  • Clear, I was looking to purchase tonight but looks like the coupon has expired already?
