Yup. Solenoid looks cheap enough to get a powerful magnet to pull back the lock. Wouldn't be surprised to see if the device pops up on any IoT pwning website.

I've got one. It's not fantastic and you can't remotely unlock. But for the price, it's good.
Can't you do it from the app (smarter home/tuya)? Pretty sure you should be able to use google assistant or possibly alexa to unlock etc.

What's wrong with it apart from not being able to remotely unlock? My understanding is that you can remotely issue a code?
Fingerprint scanner is pretty bad, so if WiFi range and it's much bigger than I expected.
But as I said, given the price, I'm happy with it. Seems to have good battery life with eneloops though.
the xiaomi's smart Door Lock looks better.
The cost to install a smart door lock is not cheap compared to the lock itself.
So I'd suggest to buy a better one .
Cost to install? If you're replacing one with the same mortise, it should just swap out otherwise you'll need to make some adjustments to the cavity of the door or maybe the frame.
