If you own a Honda Mower HRX217 and are in need of a metal guard strip to protect the sides of your mower this is what you need.
This is a genuine Honda accessory and will not void your warranty should you get this installed via Honda dealer or have proper skills to do this yourself.
To be honest it should have already come with this considering the price of that mower.
Yes, you could easily get yourself some aluminium strips, screws and washer from Bunnings or any hardware shop for less than this. Feel free to do whatever is in your budget but any warranty claims on the Nexite deck will only be valid when used with genuine approved accessories by Honda.
Most Honda mower dealers don't have this in stock and have to import this via special order and can cost upward of $45 to $70 AUD retail.
International shipping will be FREE if you spend over $49 AUD on another US/AU item (through Amazon AU) otherwise you have to include the delivery, even if you hold a Prime membership.
Price is GST inclusive (there is no import fees) as you are transacting through the AU site.

Having a 20 year old Honda mower my interest was piqued. Second page I came across discussing the Nexite Deck went like this:-
"All HRX models feature a NeXite deck, made from an extremely durable polymer material. Honda is so confident in the durability of the NeXite deck, it comes with a lifetime warranty."
So with a lifetime warranty is this not superfluous?
