I don't do the comp any more. Once you enter detail to win something you will get lots of spam calls and emails. It happens every time I enter to win. After while it stops and you enter again it starts again. Now I get less spam calls cos I don't enter competition.
That's the point of these competitions, they're farming emails, phone numbers and information to justify the cost of giving away a prize. Get a new sim just for entering these comps that way they won't hassle you on your main number.

Make sure you carefully check the tick box agreements on the competition. Often times you can opt out of marketing material but still join the competition.
