Good thing I checked before purchasing the Lego Lambo.
I have bought Lambo and Landrover from Jabba group ecently and both arrived in perfect condition.
I bought the Liebherr from IWOOT and the Lambo from Zavvi - both arrived in perfect condition and well packed.
They're both owned by the same company (The Hut Group) and I think ship from same warehouse?
I think it's luck of the draw regardless of who you buy from.
I've heard horror stories about IWOOT & Zavvi but then again, you only hear of the negatives.
No one takes the time to post that there were no issues with their order.
On another anecdotal experience, I bought the bucket wheel excavator from Myer and got a very damaged box (front flap was half ripped off and sticky-taped back together). There was no option to swap it out, only refund but there was no more stock available anywhere so wasn't an option for me :(
That's true that happy customers rarely post positive feedback but I don't want to roll the dice with a high priced item.
If it was <$100, I'd take the risk.

Yeah beware ships from UK, sometimes not in stock but they take your money first. Had a bad experience buying, thought they had a good price but turned out to be a 5 week wait. I cancelled my order easily but buyer beware
