Hi bargainers,
So most retailers released their Black Friday deals with up to 50% off on mens fashion.
I was wondering if it was worth waiting for Boxing Day sales and if traditionally sales are better on Boxing Day?
Thanks

2 of you are saying BF might be better.
I always assumed Boxing Day was better for clothing sales.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
I'll go to DFO Homebush (they released their sales here https://a.storyblok.com/f/62361/x/ba73bb7eae/dfo-big-shoppin…) and Myer have good deals too.
I think BF was better last year than BD.
Aubergine Thursday is cheapest.
Correct answer = yes
depends on what category you're looking at ? I only do beauty and cosmetics and I think mainstream stores are better AFTER christmas (myer, DJs, christmas sets go on sale etc) but overseas retailers seem to do black friday MORE so you can get some unique finds there too! when in doubt shop both hehee.
The difference I found (purely anecdotal) is that BF tends have have more things because retailers are stocking up for Christmas, whereas BD tends to be the leftovers, so it's only what they have left. And being a longer tradition, BD is more of a shit fight to deal with so not worth the effort for me.
I doubt Boxing Day 2020 will be quite the same as usual given Covid-19, that is if you are shopping in person @
Bricks + Mortar store.
Given there won't be a solution by then, there will be lots of queues and social distancing.
So, I'd go with Black Friday now either in person or online over Boxing Day.
