I also find Brooks to be very comfortable from the outset and most importantly, no blisters.
Perhaps contact Brooks and request their advice as I would expect a pair of runners to last longer than a year. I usually only update my runners every 2 years or so and that's only because I get bored with the colourway.
Brooks beast 18 $152 is not to bad
I found them to be very comfortable
However they only lasted me 1 year and I only wore them when I exercised 4 hours max per week
