This TV is great for a bedroom or man cave TV but I wouldn't recommend it for a lounge room / gaming TV. It feels cheap and the picture isn't amazing either. Washed out blacks, blocky video, bad refresh rate.. Etc. You get what you pay for.
In saying that I have one in the bedroom and would replace my shed TV with one when it fails but would not use it in the living room.
Thanks. Any suggestions on what to go for?
I'm not that picky when it comes to specs but picked up a TCL 65" P8S Android QUHD LED TV
65P8S for $817 from the Good Guys a few months back. Very happy with it and cannot fault it in any way. I picked up the Xbox Series X as well and the games look phenomenal on it.
@shamona1: Will check it out. Thanks
@shamona1: How is the sound? Needs to loud enough for an old deaf person to hear as I'm buying a tv for grandparents.
I'm also guessing refresh rate is 50hz?
The UI is probably the worst part about this TV. Can be heaps slow and unresponsive sometimes when you wanna change channels or even turn the volume up or down. Netflix and apps worked fine and seem to be faster than the normal TV scrolling.
Video quality is ok. Not the best but still works especially when you don’t have another TV next to it comparing it.
The speakers are not that great either. It seems to make dialogue harder to hear way more than normal.
If it wasn’t for the sluggish UI (which you’ll have to put up every time you use it) then it would be pretty good for the price.
Just in time for cwismas.
Good to see tvs going back to pre lock down prices
Price matching Aldi?
Get 15% off gift cards from Coles to bring it to $508.30
Unfortunately closest stock for me is 1100km away and no online delivery
Why does the brand name need two F's?
To avoid Ford suing them?
Ffair enough.
This or Aldi one which is on special buy tomorrow ?
ALDI 100%
Could you explain why, please? I'm also deciding.
The OS, the return policy at Aldi…
This looks like a ffukin good deal
Back to $899
Thoughts on this TV?
Need to buy something affordable for my lounge for gaming and Netflix etc.
