    It's never going to be worth buying a fancy replacement headstrap for my Arctis ;_;

It's not going to be worth the shipping for a replacement headstrap by itself :(
I'm actually eyeing that Rival 650 Wireless mouse X_X. USD$130 (inc shipping, approx AUD$178).
JB doing it for AUD$209 https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/steelseries-rival-650-wir…

      • I didn't think to look at eBay, but it seems there's nothing for the 7 on there anyway

        • What are you looking for, as far as im aware all the head straps are identicle.

      • Thanks. I'm actually looking for one. Mine's stretched and doesn't feel that great anymore.

        • The earcups are great too exactly the same make the ones that come brand new with the headset.
You can wash ya older pair in the washing machine, but they do lose a bit of rigidity over time with multiple washes.

          • @TsunamiInTheHouse: I have the Arctis 3. The noise reduction on them is hopeless. Doesn't block much out at all. I've read that people get replacement ones that are thicker and that helps.

    • As in… you can't find replacement headstraps?

EDIT: Didn't refresh the page. Others had already commented.

    Someone reported as spam?
If this is spam please tell me why, I'll remove as it's my first one.
I did search and nothing came up.

    • Please provide some example of products & pricing (in AUD) in the title and description.

      • thank you. will make it more clear

Might be because it reads like mice, keyboards and headsets are 50% off but in fact its accessories for those products that are half price.

      • +2

Yeah that's how I read it as, damn

      • it sounded alright in my head but I guess didn't translate well on paper/screen. haha

Wish they had an AU store lol, Steelseries are big enough

    • me too :(

Signed up for Account, saw prices on headsets, meh, nothing special. Look for something in AUS i think.

    • I did, conversion and all, would be cheaper to buy rather than from JB.

It's around $30 savings. I didn't know there was a limitation on the amount of savings to be posted here :(

    • Yes not really a deal, artics pro plus dax 280 us, i bought it for 280 aud last black Friday

      • I forgot how savage and CB people get here. X_X

This is a really misleading post. Note this is specifically not a sale for PC peripherals, it's the accessories that go along with them like dongles/straps/cases etc.

    • +1

I'm sorry that it read to you like that. I did put on my original that it was UP to 50%. Moderator was kind enough to update the title. I also included a more comprehensive list of the pricing they put up on the website.

    Overpriced crap.

    • +1

I wouldn't say crap, but yeah overpriced for sure now.

I've owned a couple SteelSeries mice and they kick along just fine, I didn't even kill the old one, just switched to a right-hand only model.

The keyboards are pretty great as well, but man how they think $200+ USD for a mechy with RGB makes sense is beyond me, that's well into custom territory.

And I am deathly curious to see what a person buying a $159USD mousepad looks like.

  • Anyone have any experience with local Steelseries warranty when buying overseas products?

  • That shipping is ridiculous. Would pickup a couple replacement bands but nah, not for $30USD shipping.
