  • What does it mean by:
    - extra long time recording (when recording what?)
    - moving hard drive (do you mean it has 1.75" drive or … )

  • "..can be easily upgraded to 12GB with an extra MiniSD Card (Card not included)."

So it's SDHC compatible?? 4Gb SD cards are SDHC only..Why can't it take an 8Gb SDHC card?

    • Er, not neccesarily.

It's against specs, but you can get 4GB SD cards which are not SDHC. It then depends if the device can handle regular SD devices higher than 4GB.

Oh, for mini and microSD devices, it also depends if you can find 4GB SD cards that are not SDHC

  • @foundit:

    My guesses:
    - when recording voice with the microphone
    - refers to the fact that you can have portable storage on the move

Anyway, I'd stay away from this. Apart from the fact that I much prefer these functions to be bundled with a phone, something as frequently used as this deserves getting a more genuine product. Not to say you should get an iPhone but a middle ground. Sony Ericsson w810, Nokia N82 etc. spring to mind.

    • Thanks for the advice Fenerli :)

Huh, just looked at the Nokia N82 (I am partial to Nokias). 5 MP camera, with autofocus and flash … as well as video at up to VGA 30fps! :)

It has a lot going for it :)

Not sure the upper limit on its microSD slot, though hot swappable. So could have 1 card for music playing, 1+ cards for pictures and video taking …

Though $57 a month with Virgin mobile (I am also partial to Virgin mobile :P )

      • N82 has SDHC slot from memory.. so 8Gb..
You're right about SD specification going to 4Gb.. I've never seen a 4Gb SD card until SDHC came along.

        • Thanks Scubacoles :) :) :)
