  • I'd rather 3x 1 litre boxes for $1.50 extra.
Although the Reject Shop recently upped the price from $3.50 to $3.75, anyone know of a shop that sells them for $3.50 or less?

    • Up & go come in 1litre? :o

      • Yep, Tetra Pak style.

nice, my mrs loves this stuff, will pick up a few packs.

These coles (not only coles) buy 2 for $x.xx amount are a pain in the ARSE! Just sell one for $4.50.

    • Makes a lot more business sense for them to do 2 for 9 dollars as they can charge full price to anyone who only buys one

  • no way! I just went to woolies and bought 3x250ml for $2.99 (special). Obviously I just got pwned.

Aside from convenience, is there any difference between these and a homemade protein shake (whey powder + milk)?

Taste-wise how do these compare to sustagen?

    • They are all crap that everyone uses to skip a sit down breakfast. :D

    • Sustagen is THE WORST. It tastes horrible. Up & Go is pretty good depending on what flavour you get. Choc Ice is the best imo.

usually, when they have these sales it's 3 for $2, so usually this would cost $8 (for 12)

  • +1

Not as good as previous specials like the 3 for $2 deal at Woolworths/IGA/Coles not long ago but still pretty cheap.

  • How healthy is this stuff? Does anyone use this regularly?

    • +2

I have heard there's a lot of sugar in them

      • 30g carbs, 10g protein iirc.

      • 150mg sugar per serve. Is that high?

    • +1

I heard from a doctor that they are not really healthy. Just sugar for energy. I'll still have them but in moderation.

    • Nearly daily for me in the car on the way to work with an apple

it might be sugary cause it is sweet, but tasty

    • I don't think they are healthy or satisfying. An hour later I am feeling hungry!

I say you get up ten minutes earlier and have 5 wheat-bix as I do each day (with no sugar) and stay satisfied to lunch time.

As for a deal though, it's a good price.
