  Why are you comparing to the A1000? The A2000 is the one that's the same price as this currently. In benchmarks the A2000 is better for sequential R/W while the SN550 is better for random R/W.

Any reason why this deal didn't get much love? Seems like a reasonably price for the 500gb. (i'm looking for a nvme boot drive for laptop)
