  • Was waiting for this. Thank you.

Does anyone know if these have been historically lower? Worth waiting for Black Friday sales to see if they potentially go lower?

    Cheers

6 months ago it was $55.95.

      • Sure. Only a $5 difference. May as well pull the plug and stock up now. Thanks

        • -1

Actually is $4 difference, just to be precise ;)

12 months ago it was $44.96

        On PSN store though.

        • +2

          And a price error

        • +1

Is it just my account or does everyone get charged international transaction fees on their credit cards through Sony and PSN? I looked it up and it says their head office is in Singapore or UK so it doesn’t matter if your account is AU based.

          • @zzzman: My account is AU and the CC transaction comes through as London. I had a foreign transaction fee on my Kogan CC so now I always use my 28 Degrees which has no foreign transaction fees.

            • @sween64: Yeh so buying through PSN negates some of these Black Friday discounts for me.

I’ll probably just stock up PS store credits from EB or JB then buy stuff through PSN.

    • With 7-10% Cashback it might just be the same or better price

  • Does this work with PS5? Still waiting for my PS5 order to be fulfilled, so very ignorant what PS5 uses for subscriptions.

    • +2

      Works fine with PS5.

    • +4

Yes, it's all the same. Actually it's been made better for ps5 owners with more free games added.

  • Oh baby. Black Friday is nearly upon us. I can taste it.

  • Further 10$ off if you check out using mobile app and using promo code turning it to be $49.95

Get $10 off when you spend $39 or more on eligible items through the Amazon Shopping mobile app only. T&Cs apply. Redeem here then sign in to Amazon Shopping app to apply your discount. Enter code APPONLY10 at checkout. Offered by Amazon AU. Here's how (terms and conditions apply)

    • The promotional code you entered cannot be used on this item

      • It seems to work for me

      • +1

        It is a targeted offer.

These terms and conditions apply whereby any existing customer of amazon.com.au who has not previously made a purchase through the Amazon App (Australia store) and has either been invited from Amazon or who has clicked through on site marketing whilst signed into their Amazon customer account, is eligible to receive $10 off their first purchase of over $39 of “eligible items” made on the Amazon App (Australia store) only ("offer").

  • Just got it from JB for the same price. Got the code almost instantly.

    Go buy from jbhifi

  • You can get the Brazilian version for 150 reais (around 40 bucks). Is it better?

    • Region lock

    • +1

      It's a smoother experience.

  • Just checked and doesn't appear to have any sale on the Amazon US site. Fingers crossed for black friday. Hopefully will be this cheap.

I just ordered this and then realised it was a physical card.
Went to cancel my order and it showed as Shipped….. Checked my email and a digital code was there.

However my friend's order is still "arrives by November 21"

    • Very lucky. Mine says it'll be posted and arrive 30 Nov - 2 Dec. Good thing I don't care about getting it straight away.

  • Do these have an expiry date? If I order one now, will I be able to activate it whenever I want ie. whenever I get my hands on a PS5 probably sometime next year?

    • I'm wondering the same thing

    • Yes to redeem later, not sure what is the limit but I did save one and gave to my friend about 3,4 months later.

    • +2

No. This card does not expire.
Ordered from JB a minute ago and got it instantly.
I recommend you to get it digital if you don't use a discounted Amazon gift card, for obvious reasons.

    Cheers, got one.

Good time to use the $30 promo credit that came with the ps5 :)

    • Yep, did the same. Now all I need is for Amazon to deliver my Ps5!

    • How could you redeem it? I've received an email saying I'm eligible for $30 promotional credits and should look out for the unique code. I then cancelled my Prime and have't received anything from them. Do I have to be a Prime member to use that $30?

      • I think so, yes. I didn't need to use a code it was just automatically added by Amazon at checkout

    • Yep, plus my $10 'complain to Amazon about how long my PS5 was taking to ship' credit.

Just purchased this for 59.95 and noticed this post: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/582492 (12 Months PlayStation Plus for $55.96)
Contacted support and they credited me the $4 to my account !

    • Noob question but how did you contact amazon support and what did you tell them?

  • Damn it! i just renewed my psn few months ago
Do these expire? can i add this onto of my current PSN sub to extend the sub?

    • They stack so yes they extend your sub.

  • Looks like they've sold out or taken it off sale, says "Currently unavailable." for the 12 month one

    • back in stock
  • Back in stock as of a couple of minutes ago. I LITERALLY just finished buying one from JB Hi Fi and this comes back up. :p

  • Comtemplating risking the BF rush for $4…

  • Thanks OP. Purchased now in case it's out of stock on black Friday.

  • Back in stock
