Might want to add that postage is $4 for all other states besides SA (which is free).

    • Does Australia post charge differently between capital cities?

Don't get too upset, it's Aussie post ..they will either rock up 2 weeks after lockdown, or not at all!
And just quietly, lets ban disposable masks. Sick of seeing them discarded and floating around (and we havent even had a lock down before).

Then you would also have to ban condoms…

          • @jv: 42 years .. haven't seen a conny on the streets or in a drain yet…also haven't seen a washable /reusable conny either.

      • They do with my business account. So I assume it’s the same with everyone else. If I send within sydney (which is where I am located) it’s much cheaper than elsewhere. even express post in sydney is cheaper than regular post to other cities.

That means your business is using eParcel.
There's also a flat rate option available from AusPost.

These are being sent as a standard parcel.

  • Thanks but my Chinese neighbor just gave me 200s for free.

Where did he get them from?

      • -2

Fluhan, tested before shipped to make sure they work.

  • Thanks Dealbot! And Iot Hub for not jacking up the prices like many chemists did here!

for not jacking up the prices like many chemists did here!

One of the few industries to remain open through all the shutdowns…
They have probably been making a mint through the crisis.

Very poor form of them to take advantage of other people who have lost their jobs.

      • Couldn't agree more. Take it with a grain of salt, but one guy on the radio this morning was saying he had a pack of 50 masks in his hand marked at $20, by the time he got to the counter they told him the price marked was wrong, now it's $30.

I would have taken a photo and reported it to the ACCC…

At least the paperwork and hassle they'll have to go through would be worth the extra $10…

      • earlier in the year, Pharmacy 777 were flogging one of these disposable masks for $10. of course they didn't openly display the price, just a "we have masks sign" so you had to wait in a long, socially-distanced queue to get to the counter and walk away empty-handed.
