Launtel for NBN (PM me for referrer code or use the ozbargain wheel to find a lucky person). No contracts, unlimited, switch plans on a daily basis and pay daily.

    • Thanks ggop, just looking at their website, it shows various unlimited plans such as nbn25, 50, 100/20 with same $3.50 per day charge?
Looks like it cost $105 per month no matter what the plan is 24 mbps, 50 mbps, 100 mbps?

How much can be saved by using discount / referrer code?

Also, their is FAQ mentioning NDF $300??

Effective 1 April 2016, the $300 +gst New Development Fee (NDF) is charged for all NBN™ broadband connections in the following circumstances~~~ The first connection at a premises in a newly developed area i.e. a suburb with no pre-existing telecommunications infrastructure. OR The first connection(s) at a premises in an establish area in the rare instance that a developer has increased the number of dwellings on the same plot of land e.g. demolished a single house and built a block of units. Once the NDF has been charged at an address, it will not be charged again for subsequent connections, provided the number of dwellings at that address has not increased

Did you pay NDF as well?
AFAIK, property already connected with nbn (dodo and telstra in the past). no units constructed on property. Hopefully, NDF doesn't apply in this case. Need to check with their customer support though.

I would say Launtel is having very good customer reviews on Product Review:

I already was on the NBN. So all I had to was churn. Not sure what those charges would amount to for you. Their tech support team is excellent, have a chat with them.

I am on 25/5 at $1.99 per day, sometimes I move up to 50/20 for work for a few days. The price changes just for those days, $.2.28 IIRC.

For referrals, I get $50 and I think you get $25.

Nah if your mate is already connected to the NBN the NDF doesn't apply.

  • Launtel is now charging more, no matter it's 25/5, 50/20, 100/20 plan. Daily rate is $3.50
