You could buy Ausdom Bass One's for $80 on singles day which are USB type-c, Bluetooth 5, ANC, huge battery life, etc.

Why do people buy these overpriced headphones?

My car has 4 wheels, doesn't make it a Ferrari.

      • Ah, yeah, check out my Ferrari https://youtu.be/BUXuB4qPqP4?t=822

Yeah, never seen that response from an audiophile. Do you actually believe it is a good analogy? You can buy a car for a small fraction of the price of a Ferrari with more power and features. Your analogy favours my original comment.

I don't care if people want to spend huge amounts on some headphones because they believe it sounds better. I'm pointing out how overpriced they are when there are better options for less.

In the ANC Bluetooth headphone game, there are 2 kings. Sony and Bose. 2 models to choose from.

          XM3/XM4 and the QC35/NCH-700

If you look at every review website, these are either no1 or no2.

Now, if we go non-Bluetooth, that's where you can get better for less, but you can't fake good ANC, Mics, Battery Life, etc.

Sub $500 is not even expensive for an item that you could wear 4-5 hours a day, 7 days a week.

          • @pformag: Laughing in my year old $70 Ausdom ANC8s that I still use everyday and battery life is fantastic.

Probably because people know the "audsom bass ones" is shit.

Considering the QC35 can be had under $300 this is hardly a deal on old refurb units.

They're refurb.. maybe include that in the title?

    • +1

      It's there

I picked up my 700's new at this price a while ago through the Ebay promo

    • Crazy how the 700s are holding price, but the XM4 is dropping.

      • Agree - I actually find the QC ii's more comfortable, but prefer the 700's ear pressure better. My friends XM4's sound great. Really all of them is just a preference for your head shape and comfort

  • Apparently amazing for phone calls, if that is an intended use for you.
