Warning: It's the dud female ghostbusters model.

      • +4

No it's not. It's Janine from the first Ghostbusters movie.

        • Set also includes Ghostbusters Winston Zeddemore and Janine Melnitz in their official uniforms.

I stand corrected! Didn't realize it was WInston, at a glance I thought it was just a bad haircut.

    • Nice one

    • Yeah on my wishlist. Love the siren too.

Are these worth collecting and sell for profit when it retires like lego? Or they are not really worth the effect of holding?

    • -5

Why neg me? Its a genuine question.

I hold my lego for around 3-5 years, only sell when they retire. Its a investing really. In fact LEGO investing is huge and its beaten key indicators like SP500:

      • I don't understand why you're getting negged for asking this. Take my upvote

      • Maybe real fans / collectors enjoy buying it but can't because people like yourself buy and sit on it for financial purposes.

        Consider a real job perhaps.

    • People don't look too kindly on resellers round these parts

      • Agreed - however I think there is a difference between 'broden' purchasing all products for immediate resale and purchasing something you think will appreciate in value - insert joke here about car investment etc.

    • Playmobil has a lot of connectors, like LEGO (just not as common in Australia). It is a worthwhile investment, but like anything in this regard it's a gamble.

    🤔🤔🤔
I just think of the lego movie 2 when I see playmobil

    • +1

      Why? Not the Playmobil movie?

  • Got this set sitting next to me right now. Would definitely require an adult to assemble but it's a nice, fun and detailed collectible.

  • There's even a Delorean that Transforms into a robot! Although I'm not sure if you can find them in Aus.

    Destination: Feb 2020

    • amazon usually ships sooner than estimated in my experiences, but what would I know…

  • wtf is a playmobil?

    • +2

It's a toy brand that's been around for decades! They make kids toy sets similar to Duplo, but without the block building element.

      • +3

Playmobil is huge in Europe, it competes with Lego in toy market hence why a Playmobil movie was recently released, following Lego's lead. There is no construction element, largely just "imaginative play". Playmobil has never been widely distributed in Aust, only in spurts & starts & hence it's largely unknown here……

      • Mostly made in Malta and Germany too

  • I don't see the resemblance.

      Too tall?

you telling me this sucker is nuclear?

  • I really had to push hard to resist pulling trigger on this one.

Looks better than the Lego version…

    • I looked up the Lego version, and totally agree. I haven't seen a Lego version of real cars that I actually like; they just airways look too blocky and fugly.

      • There's plenty of good looking lego cars, but they really botched the delorean

      • I haven't seen a Lego version of real cars that I actually like; they just airways look too blocky and fugly.

        You sure?

  • Great Scott!

  • Looks like a lot of people wanting to time travel back to the age "appropriate" group to play this set.

or Buying this of their "kid" :D

    • +1

I swear… I'm buying this for my "future" son.
