Prices seem more expensive than other places anyway. Sackboy was $92. AC: Valhalla was $82. Both can be bought cheaper elsewhere (even after this 10% code).

    • For standard versions of the game yes. I was more towards pointing to gold, ultimate editions of some games

Also note these are UK version shipped from the UK, the store name is misleading.

May cause issues getting DLC on an AU PSN account and different covers/ratings labels will bug collectors.

        • Yah that’s a great point. I thought it was weird being named ozgameshop but not having an .au web address.

        • issues getting DLC on an AU PSN account

Never been an issue in the past. AU & UK are the same region as far as sony is concerned.

US is where you run into compatibility issues.

      • Do special editions these days usually come with physical goodies or just DLC/virtual items?

Used to order from Ozgameshop all the time

Sadly their prices aren't really competitive any more

    • +3

Same. They used to be the cheapest around, and you get the points to get vouchers to save even more.

Granted it took a week after release to arrive, but I liked ordering from them.

      • +1

Yeah when they wiped the points program is probably when I stopped

Back in the PS3/360 generation, I used to buy games from OzGameShop all the time as they were usually the cheapest option, you just had to wait that week for it to arrive. I am pretty sure at some point they were bought out by another company and then they started charging for postage and their prices were never cheap again.

Yikes, these guys are getting outpriced by the big retailers these days. Can't see their business model working for much longer.

    • I don't think these guys are small, this is the Australian frontend for some big UK operation

  • Check bigw posts for cheaper deals atm.
