Online the consensus on this seems to be that's it's an incremental upgrade, F1 23+, People also seem to mention that driving physics are a bit wacky, over the previous entries too

Seems it may be okay for $20 though

  I personally wouldn't bother as F1 25 is going to be releasing in the next 4-6 months and F1 24 isn't a huge upgrade from F1 23

      No it won't but when it's a game being released year on year and some big changes in 2025, I would rather wait and buy 2025.

      It's also usually on sale when it's released. Usually around $60.

        What are the big changes in 25 over 24 when 24 wasn't a huge upgrade on 23?

          @chiprillis: For me, it'll just be the changes to the driver line-up. It doesn't make an actual difference to the gameplay (especially when playing online) but I'm just excited to vs Lewis in a (hopefully) competitive Ferrari.

  Interestingly, the standard edition came up as free for me - both PS4 and PS5. Not sure if there has been a change recently but I don't recall it being free.

    It's a bit misleading especially through the PS app and changing additions. There's a free trial, that's all it will be.

      But I already had the free trial installed a couple months back. Will need to check the ps5 itself to see what's going on.

      In the end you are right. It's a trial. So it downloaded twice for some reason.
