  • Like Pilot Frixion but 1/25 the cost. Does anyone know how good they are?

    • +1

Probably cloned Pilot Frixion's ink, given Pilot is a Japanese company.. and well, Aliexpress and the seller is based China, not surprising if they've just copied the formulation and created cheap knockoffs ignoring copyright laws, as you do in China.

Wouldn't be hard to do it given Frixions have been out for at least 10, if not 15 years as a matured product.

Probably the pens in this deals' rubber erasing tips at the back will run out before the 50 refills.

You can buy a Frixion eraser though.

Will be interesting on the feedback if any OzB is game enough to try these ones, though the aliexpress one has 24223 customer reviews

Blatant Pilot Frixion copies without mentioning the Pilot name, even the design is the same

Frankly $2.50 for the real thing isn't a dealbreaker. You don't need many, surely.

        • It doesn’t last long. 1 whole day of writing

  • Was about to order but realised you had to get 50 of the 1 colour. A shame you can’t mix and match as having 100 refills is a lot. Still a good price though.

    • it's not alot, 50 go real fast.

  • Please note, those ink are heat sensible and will expire, they will become writing nothing out. unless you keep it in under 30 degrees all the time. given Australian weather, the ink will not work after 2 summers.
I keep buying Frixion every time I went to Japan but in a limited quantity, I learnt hard in my first purchase. 8/10 are not working after the first summer.

    • How are you storing them? Inside the house isn't that hot.

Does it lose colour so you can't see things you've already written? Or just go too hard to get out of the pen?

    • U can put it in the fridge to bring back it's colour, you can also do this if U accidentally lose something you wrote because you left it out in the sun.
