Anyone Know How I Can Pay into a PayPal Account without Having a PayPal Account?

I want to send someone I know overseas a small amount of money - only AUD25 - but I don't have or want a Paypal account.

I did some searching online and thought I had found a work-around. That being, to get the recipient to send a request for money and I would "pay as a guest". I got the payment request but when I tried to pay, and selected Australia as my country of residence, Paypal are refusing to accept payment from Australia without opening an account.

Is there a way around this?

    what's wrong with signing up to Paypal? I use paypal on literally all my purchases whenever possible as they provide buyer protection. If there are any issues with your purchase, it is much easier to dispute than a bank chargeback.

    If you know someone who already has a PayPal account, ask them to pay, give them the cash.

    How about using OFX , although you still need an account.
    Any reason you dont want to open an account with Paypal?

    If they have an ebay account and you have a credit card, you could get them to put up an obscure listing and send you the link to buy it with your card. you would have to add a few bucks for fees though.
