I need to get a new CPU, and I think I'm going to grab a 10700k, however I know they'll likely be on sale for Black Friday. Does this sort of protection usually cover eBay deals from the usual OzBargain eBay computer retailers?
Will Credit Card Purchase Protection Apply if I Buy a CPU Now and It Goes on Sale for Black Friday through an eBay Provider?

"Ask OzBargain"
Long gone are the days of Credit Card Purchase Protection that lasts 12months.
They all seem to be riddled with clauses like:
-it cant be online
-physical store has to be within 20km of original purchase
-must be in a printed catalogue
-must have identical model numberetc etc etc.
Its just a form of insurance, and insurance is 'incase sh!t happen's' then they look for every reason not to pay the price protection claim.
Read the terms…
If it isn't a 28deg/Coles mastercard with the grandfathered PP policy active on it then it's highly unlikely you have any meaningful price protection on it as nobody really offers it anymore.
I wish I signed up to the Coles MasterCard with PP
What do the Ts & Cs of your credit card policy say?
