  This is just a plastic stand with 2 USB cables. I'm not sure what the stand could do better than any ordinary flat surface, but if you're otherwise convinced and don't mind the premium on the USB cables it could be a deal.

  For what it's worth I got the black version of this when I got my PS4 in 2016. The stand is, like mentioned above, literally just a grooved piece of plastic. The charging cables seem cheap too. At least one of these stopped working for me within a few months of use and I don't remember what happened to the other.

  Basically, you're better off just getting some longer decent cables if possible for a similar price.

  Isn't there a proper charging dock/cradle available that uses the sockets on the bottom of the controller directly, rather than a loose cable on the top?
