I think the amount paid with gift cards do not qualify for cashback.

Cashback terms state "Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback."

Yes recently did split purchase with card and gift card and the full amount was given in cashback.

Go to the product page on Amazon and look at the category. It'll be just under the Amazon logo, below "All" button

      • Good troll.

  • Is mobile phone under electronic?

    • Looks like it. To be sure go to the product page on Amazon and look at the category. It'll be just under the Amazon logo, below "All" button

  • Do we get Cashback on Amazon Prime product Shipped form Amazon US, bought from amacom.com.au? As the categories are diffrent to those listed; for example my item is listed under Home Improvment.

    shit, Kitchen ZERO

  • Hmmm. Just looking at my Amazon account on CashRewards and I see that half of my 297 transactions this year - and all of them from a wide range of categories in recent months have been declined.

OP or others - do you know if there has been any change in their policy about eligibility? I know you can't disrupt your clickthru session once initiated and that your cart has to be empty before starting any cashback transaction and neither are the problem in my case. Do your saved items/wish list now have to be empty as well? Any other ideas why nothing is tracking now? It appears to have been happening since 14-17 August?

Hmm. Just checked mine. Apart from one back in June all my Amazon claims have been declined.

      • Yep. I know they've got lots of 0% categories, but mine go beyond that. Some other rule or behaviour appears to be blocking thousands of dollars worth of transactions…

Pretty much same here - not really worth bothering with as it's basically useless to follow up with them, no recourse, etc.
