  • In the past I've used the Ozito 2400w blower and it was fairly mediocre in moving more than the odd leaf compared to the grunt of a petrol blower.

I can't imagine what 600w must be like? A gentle breeze?

It’s a workshop blower, they’re used for blowing sawdust and maybe light swarf indoors or from the bench without blowing everything off the shelves.
Unless you mean you think it will be weak for a workshop blower?

      • So it's under power to use as a leaf blower? the product description does state that it can be used for leaves and outdoor though.

It can but it won't be much chop. As said, its a workshop blower, not a leaf blower.

Given that it's corded, you'd probably be better off with the Ozitio leaf blower/muncher for $50 if you want to do the garden…but in my experience, pay the bit extra and get cordless. I've got both and the corded one hardly gets used as it takes longer to pull it out and pack it up again as it does to blow the yard.
Best option (if you can still find stock) would be the $30 Ozito jet blower skin and 2 x $29 Ozito trimmer packs. Ditch the trimmers and keep the batteries and chargers and you'll have a jet blower for under $90.

        • I’ve never used this particular product, but I have used a couple of other brands. They would blow dry leaves and dry grass cuttings however didn’t have enough grunt for damp leaves.
Keep in mind this is a 230v unit so you will be dragging a cable around if using it outdoors.

  • Grab one. Thanks.

You are welcome. This is my first ever post!

  • I use mine for when I get too lazy to dry the car off after washing it.

It's fairy good at doing that but nowhere near strong enough for much else.

    • Strong enough for the car?

      • @ iShibby Just. I have the end of the nozzle as close to the car as I can without touching the paintwork for a reasonable job.

        • I use an Ozito Jet Blower, it’s noisy as hell on turbo but blows 90% of the water off. Go over the rest with a Bowdens Own Big Green Sucker with a few sprays of Boss Gloss and it barely gets wet.

          • @iShibby: I prefer to go the other way and BGS first, especially if putting Happy Ending on. If you sheet the water off first, there's not much for the BGS to pick up anyway. Blower just gets the stuff out from behind the trims, mirrors, wheels etc.

            • @whitelie: SCA have the BGS @ $15 off until 8 Nov. I'm going to grab one as a spare.

              • @Hithere: I've already got two!

              • @Hithere: Dang you had me there, it's actually $25 I nearly got my credit card out!

            • @whitelie: Does it affect Happy Ending using the blower?

              • +1

@iShibby: They say not to blow it as it can cause streaking. Using the BGS flattens out any imperfections in the application of the product.

                • @whitelie: That’s fair enough, I don’t sheet the water off so basically use the blower to remove the bulk of the water before BGS. Car is still pretty wet so hopefully it worked ok. I didn’t notice any streaking but will do it the other way round next time cheers.

What blows more hot air, this or JV?

  • Any adapters with it ? To pump up the initial part of an inflatable SU paddleboard? (I know it wont get it above maybe 1 PSI), but it saves pumping it from scratch.

  • Great for cleaning a pc.
