I'll give you $50 bucks and 4 chicken nuggies

    • +2

I'll see your $50 and 2 monopoly coupons (good for 6 chicken nuggets).

  • +4

Is this really a bargain? Has anyone done a cost breakdown?

  • +10

    $22 of value for $139

  • +1

Not as good value as the pack for $25 before

    • I bought the $25 and it was a good deal. So this time I was excited at first, then saw the prices then disappointed…

  • +6

How is this a bargain… someone please explain me.

    Also:

    "Back by popular demand"

    Who demanded so, come on…

    • +5

I think maybe the $25 was high in demand.

Unfortunately, the $139 price tag is not.

      • The $25 deal was actually rather good, I sent a fair few to friends and family who wouldnt be travelling.

If they brought that back it would atleast sell.

RRP for the 2 bottles of wine alone is approximately $130, not sure how much they go on sale.
Can't really get the other items unless you are flying business, but probably doesnt really cost that much by itself

    • +3

      RRP?

    • +2

Qantas uses plenty of bottles that are between $20-$30 in Business.

      • $20-$30 RRP. They can definitely be had for less in retail, let alone commercially!

    • who says so?

  • +1

I could barely offload these for $50 on eBay. Funny that people are paying $100+ for them.

  • +12

They should GIVE a pack to everyone they've sacked whilst the little leprechaun gets $23.8 million per year

    • tah be shurr, tah be shurr

  • Isnt the 370 deal the better bargain? Taittinger Comtes Champagne is 320 at dan murphys.
While local wine is always cheap, plenty of places to get decent local wine for nearly nothing.

    • You get only 1 set instead of 2 sets of pjs and kit. If you add up the RRPs of everything, it's probably fair value. Not that anyone here ever buys anything at RRP.

  • +3

Spend money you don't have on crap you don't need, that will break and end up in landfill…

    • +2

Isn't that what OzBargains is all about?

    • You're in wrong forum mate

      • I just find that the stuff given on airlines tends to be a single use and wont last that long.

  • +4

While these items are in demand by people that want to pretend they fly at the pointy end of the plane, having them available without the need of a $2000 ticket instantly devalues them.

  • No first class blankets? :(

  • +1

gimme the jim jams, tim tams and i'll back up the truck

The wine in there is Toolangi Reserve Block F Chardonnay 2019 and Jim Barry First eleven Cab Sav worth collectively $130 so probably not as bad as first thought

And includes two pairs of PJ's

You had me at " …and a set of ear plugs. "
