Strong Horror Themes
There are elements of horror, especially considering it is a survival game with no ways to defend. You can only hide. But the focus of the game is not the horror, it's the philosophical question - what makes us human? The horror themes really complement the true horror that is loneliness, isolation, and mortality.
One of the updates added a mode where the enemies will just totally ignore you so you don't have to worry about jump scares / trying to run and anxiously hide from enemies. Cool game even on that mode.

If you can get both, especially if you like horror games. Cannot go wrong with SOMA and Amnesia.
Only issue is I have a hundred games and have played through 3 or 4 of them. I watched a couple of reviews of Amnesia and it looks great, I was about to buy it and saw this and now I feel like I'll procrastinate until it's expired for sheer choice. Also just got slay the spire for $5 from EB which is adding to my apathy
