G'day
I'm looking for a smaller Android phone for the old folks who don't need a cellular tablet in their pocket for multimedia. Something around the 4 to 5 inch display size would be great with at least 2GB RAM.
$150-$300 price range.
Hoping to find something a few steps above those Woolworths Telstra Essential phones as I feel they would not be very responsive for frequent usage.
If there are any recommendations for smaller form factor, recent model Android phones it would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Nowadays there aren't many phones with sub-5 inch displays — those have mostly gone out of fashion because we have started to favour phones with 'tall' aspect ratios that make it easier to hold in the hand but with enough screen real estate to browse and use instant messaging with. That, and it's much harder to fit a 3000mah battery into a small phone.
the iPhone SE and it's predecessors are really the only 'small' smartphones that you can buy today.
