CASHREWARDS is going downwards, and stop give your information to them for their profit.

Too many insane discount and many are not claimed.

Nowhere you could contact customer service, and FAQ does not help. I feel they really short on staff and just running insane cashback to attract sales.

Not sure how long this business could last, redeem you money ASAP and stop shopping from it.

        Man, good pick.

I have been used Cashrewards and OZbargain for a while, and I do not give comments.

If you are from cashrewards, please contact me towards fix the issue.

IF you are not from Cashrewards, thanks for reading my comments and hopefully you think twice.

Welcome to argue with your experience.

BTW, shopback is not any better since I heard the member info leaking too.

If you have a concern, PM me your Cashrewards ticket number and/or Cashrewards email address. Making such sweeping statements about a business where many hundreds of thousands of members have great success is unfair and uncalled for. Thanks.

We've been around for over six years and don't plan on going anywhere.

@tightarse: I can not PM in OZbargain.

Ticket number 358587, and you could find my Email if you are from cashrewards.

this is related to Lenove 2 hour flash sale.

            please explain what happened.

            • +4

@CLARKC: Thanks for that. Since you don't have PM activated, I will respond here for transparency.

"Nowhere you could contact customer service…"

You have a ticket number, which means you had already successfully contacted our Member Services team.

On Sept 1 2020, you lodged a claim for an untracked Lenovo purchase made on Aug 13, 2020. The team responded (see below) that your invoice date (13/08/20) did not match your click date (12/08/20). That was the last we heard from you. Why was there no response to a question that required clarification? All you had to do was get back to us, and we would have fixed the issue in no time.

              Hi xxxx,

Thank you for getting in touch with our team regarding your Lenovo purchase. We sincerely apologise for the delay in our response.

After reviewing the attached document for this transaction, I have noticed that the order date does not match the date on your click history. It shows that the click occurred on 12 August 2020 and your invoice appears that you made the payment on 13 August 2020. Can you please confirm the exact date you placed your order?

I appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing back from you to assist further.

              Sincerely,
              MJ

                @tightarse: Never seen this reply.

How should I response something I never see.

Which Email should I contact customer service for? [email protected] ?

Lenovo invoice is a day late and order date match with the Sales time.

                • +4

@CLARKC: Here's a screenshot of the reply we sent you with some details blanked out. I'd suggest whitelisting Cashrewards in your email settings, just in case it landed in your junk/spam folder.

There is no need to respond or do anything further now. I've already started the ball rolling by contacting Lenovo directly on your behalf with the details at hand. I will get back to you as soon as I hear back.

@CLARKC: It's called checking your inbox regularly … which it seems you don't …

                • +8

@CLARKC: Hi again. OK, here's the full story. Lenovo has responded and stated their analytics show you clicked out from Cashrewards then immediately clicked through OzBargain in search of the Lenovo deal and purchased - this caused loss of tracking and therefore no Cashrewards attribution for the sale. If you're unfamiliar with how affiliates work, last click attribution is key and unless you purchase after clicking from Cashrewards (without visiting other sites), you won't track.

As a gesture of good will, Lenovo has decided to pay you commission of $149.45 for the purchase. Please check your Cashrewards account and confirm everything is in order. I hope this has restored your faith in our service, as I'm sure you'll agree we've gone above and beyond in sorting this out for you. It would never have come to this if you'd responded to our initial ticket enquiry. Thank you.

I.e. the cut you're talking about did not go to CashRewards in this case

                        • @cwongtech: TA's just talking about the click tracking. Presumably TA/Lenovo accepted it was user error and manually honoured the click - that's all that changed. Cashrewards is still getting the money, hence "Please check your Cashrewards account and confirm everything is in order."

But yes, good job on Lenovo for still honouring it and TA for investigating it - all I'm saying is Cashrewards are still going to get their cut.

                  • +1

                    @tightarse: thanks TA.

All sorted and apology for any impropriate comments here.

Even I had never received the first response email, but your action and responses are magnificent.

will keep supporting Cashrewards on going.

                    Regards,

                    Clark

    • Case closed.

Apologize for all comments above and keep happy shopping with cashrewards.

Cashback eligible if purchased with wish gift cards?

    • Worked fine for me when paying with Wish gift cards, cashback tracked straight away

    • TA do you think you could confirm if this deal works still even if we use gift cards? Thanks!

      • +5

Sure, have not been told otherwise. Good to go with gift card payments :)

    • +2

Cashback always worked for me in the past when paid with Wish gift cards. Not sure anything has changed now.

  • I just purchased beer for $45.90 (inc $4.17 GST) but CashRewards have allocated a cashback of AUD 0.92 - is this correct!???

    • +2

      Beer & Cider 2%

      $45.90 x 2% = $0.918

      Looks legit.

Hope you used discounted Dan Murphys 5% eGift!

  • Dammit, thought beer was at 10% back too - silly me. And no I didnt use 5%eGift!? Not fmiliar with that and only just learning the OZbargain life! :( but thanks you!

The party is nearly over :(
Search up Woolworths in CashRewards, and click on Woolworths gift cards, then change product to Dan Murphys

      Linky Here
It'll be 5% off custom amounts

It ends on 19th November from memory :( (the purchasing of gift cards on discount, not when they expire)

Awesome! I missed the deal last week because their website was temporarily unavailable. Definitely won't miss out today! Thanks CR

  • +2

Thanks OP. The Macallan 12YO Sherry Oak Cast is on offer $99.70 at Dan's. I used CR first to buy a DM $100 eGift card for $95, then used the gift card to buy the Macallan.

Total out of pocket after cashback is $90.02 (cashback was $4.98)!

Cashback is ineligible when used in conjunction with payment by a Groupon Woolworths voucher or other third party promotional offers & vouchers.

        • Hi Guitarit, I did not use this promotion to buy a DM gift card. The CR website already has a Woolies group 5% off GC promotion, which allowed me to get a $100 DM GC for $95.

I then clicked through to the DM CR promotion, and paid for the whisky using said GC above. As per
@tritorius comment above, I can confirm that paying for this promotion with a DM GC gets you Cashback too. It seems that a DM GC does not count as a "third party voucher".

Lmk if you want me to send you a screenshot of my CB received using a GC to pay…

          • @bitesized: You Sir, are a true Ozbargainer.

Just bought those DM gift cards.

1 X Laphroaig 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL (Bottle)
            $99.99

1 X Wild Turkey Longbranch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 700mL (Bottle)
            $59.99

            1 X Vok Triple Sec 500mL (Bottle)
            $26.99

            Cheers.

            • @guitarit: Just for next time, Laphroaig 10 can be found around $80 on a regular basis. Dan's also had it for around $80 recently if I am not wrong.

              Nick's have it for $80 now. https://www.nicks.com.au/laphroaig-10-year-old-single-malt-s…

If you can only buy it from Dan's, show them Nick's rate and they will pricematch. Or buy it from Nick's as they are pretty awesome. Free shipping for over $200 or there is a postage charge but who doesn't buy $200 worth of whisky in a single go anyways. Haha.

            • @guitarit: Lagavulin 16 for $94.50 after GC and CR.

        • *Cashback is ineligible on the purchase of gift cards.

I didn't know Macallan 12YO Sherry Oak Cast is a type of gift card or a type of Groupon Woolworths voucher?
