I've had 2 pairs, there's plenty of cushion. What there isn't is support for the ankle, and the air means your foot can move more than a conventional shoe.
They are for looks only. You'd never run in them, or use as a proper walking shoe… you'd NEVER use them for resistance training / weights (legs).

I don’t recommend this model, bought the black colour one last year, they tend to sink in at the heel section of the bubble and yes they squeak badly.
Yeah, bad squeaking on any any mildly smooth surface. Drove me nuts.
