Every now and again I browse the Telstra Rewards store as I have an abundance of points thanks to previous deals posted on here.

This morning I noticed that the BlueAnt Pump Air X Wireless Sportsbuds were listed as a Hot Offer with a 35% point discount.

The buds can alternatively be purchased with a points + pay combo of 2,500 points + $125.

    Honestly have no idea mate, hard to find review information out there about this new model besides a single, very positive comment from 'Timmo' on the JB site.

    I had enough points to grab 2 pairs for free, so will see how they go :)

  Hows the audio and call quality? Quite disappointed with audio of the Buds+, not bad for calls though so back to using my Jabra Talk 55 for calls and 1more Stylish for music

  It's interesting that there is almost no online review on this model. Perhaps too new? The Telstra offer is good and the manufacturer spec looks promising, but if the item itself is actually crappy, the points would be wasted.

  Not bad for free points but def would not spend the RRP.. it's good only for listening to music and that too indoors only. Maybe I need to change eartips to find the right fit, there's quite a few in the box including a pair of comply foam tips. Mic quality is bad so not recommended for calls. Pretty surprising as I remember Blue Ant being famous for Bluetooth headsets and car kits.
