  • thought it was some random Italian site because of the it domain

turns out its another Australian Cashback company, not sure how it'll work out considering the competition that's already out there

  • You guys have to be better than the other 2 companies if you want to win Ozb. So far, you don't have eBay and Amazon.

In order for us to identify eligible purchases in-store without any further action required by you, we need access to your bank account details. We use this information to establish a secure connection with your bank or service provider. Your bank sends us the information we need to be able to send you rewards. In linking your accounts to Plastiq.it you simply shop as you normally would and enjoy Cashback on all eligible purchases.

Sorry, what?!? You actually seriously expect people to give you ongoing access to every transaction they make? Bwahahahahahahahahaha yeah no.

If you want to do it properly, you need to be doing it like Cashrewards, Shopback, and everyone else does it - a proper partnership with Visa/Mastercard's data solutions divisions to have specific info provided to you by the processing network without being able to see every dollar going in and out.

    • Hi there, just to confirm this is for in-store Cashback and not required for any online Cashback transaction.

That's great, but it's still madness. You need to do it properly. Getting Yodlee to feed you the banking statements of all your customers means you have access to far too much information you don't need, and you invalidate your customers' zero liability guarantee on their online banking.

Given the recent Shopback data breach, signing up for instore cashback with you is absolutely stupid.
