Siemens iQ300 Under Bench Dishwasher SN436S01JA $975 Delivered (Was $1699) @ Appliances Online

150

Made in Germany. "14 place setting capacity, brilliant cleaning and drying results with very low energy and water consumption."

I recently paid $1069 for this at E&S and while I am still waiting for it to be delivered, I noticed that the price has even gone down further @ Appliances Online. This I believe is the cheapest it has ever been so good dishwasher for someone who is in the market now.

Showing as "in stock" and free delivery for VIC.

      Have a read here: https://www.eurohomedirect.com/blog/which-branded-appliance-…

I had the same question when I was planning to buy a dishwasher. They are both owned by the same parent company and both are renowned for their quality so I guess whichever you can find cheaper should be the answer. For me, at the time of purchase, I found this to be cheaper than Bosch so I ordered this. I see that Bosch's price have gone up since COVID but it's a matter of time and the price should start to come down to pre-COVID prices sooner or later.

    • I just got the Bosch Series 6 and really like it. Super quiet (compared our prior clunker), heaps of room, adjustable height second tray, and the cutlery tray (Siemens iq300 doesn't seem to have) which I used to think was nonsense is great as it give much more flexibility / room on bottom tray. Was ~$1,100 via GG ebay store.
While I can't add much more comment on the Siemens, it does look sleeker on the front panel than the bosch.

      • The i600 has the tray plus the stone. It's incredible!

Siemens sold its home appliance brand to Bosch. Now Siemens don't have any personal products, (mobile, phone, home appliance all sold or stopped).
You will never get any real Siemens product if you are not expert~

  • Bosch make Siemens, so they have same quality. IQ300 equals to series 4 in Bosch.

Beats the Bosch warranty. 5 years compared to 2 years.

When I opened this dishwasher up at the store, all I could see was Siemens.

Our Siemens started to leak at about 6 years of age and it was an absolute pain in the backside to fix. So many bells and whistles And such a solid frame that nothing was easy to get access to.

    • Is it just coincidence that your comment is riddled with metaphors?

      • Unfortunately yes, the double entendre are all in your mind :) I truly had to bend over backwards to fix the thing.

        • I'll bring it up at my next session. Seriously though I have fannied around with dishwashers on occasion and for me it's never fun. Well done fixing it.
