I'm wondering has anyone brought anything electronic from Dhgate? if so how was the experence?
I want to get a "New Trent" phone charger but the ONLY (I challenge you otherwise) place that i can buy it directly is Dhgate…

ahhh… how can i trust all these reviews… i feel like there is major sockpuppeting…. ehh.. at least with the bad reviews they got refunds.. (or could this be leading me into a false sense of security)
the only time i have bought from dhgate has been good. It was for the $5 helicopter, which was taken down pretty quick. I was surprised they actually honoured it.
Btw, its a shame newTrent doesnt ship to Australia anymore. They used to when i bought the IMP50D.
They are actually banned here on OzBargain due to spamming. Price wise it's okay, but "aggressive marketers" there :)
yeah, maybe check on other sides(dealextreme, buyincoins, etc)
yeha i have tried everything… like could get the cheapo one from HK but who knows how good it will last.. plus this New Trent has phenomenal reviews for it.

I've had nothing but trouble with DHgate. My 3 transactions - all bad.
Dishonest sellers - inaccurate descriptions, a seller who sent a completely different tablet to what was ordered, another seller giving fake return address for faulty products (twice).
Their feedback scores are censored with bad feedback removed, and positive feedback seems to be cross-linked with other sellers.
Avoid at all costs!
I'd never heard of New Trent until now - are these things quite popular?
I wasn't aware of it either until my previous post about a portable power source for my Desire HD where infinity89 recommended New Trent for that. Having a look, all reviews for it extremely positive http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-iCruiser-IMP1000-Blackberry/…
So rather risking wasting money on cheaper (probably unreliable) options, i'm keen to get the real deal. still unfortunately DHgate is my only reasonable option.
I have used DHG twice with no problems. (neither were for elctronics)
You may also want to look at aliexpress.com Remember on this site to register as a wholesaler/reseller as the prices differ from retail registrants.
I have purchased the New Trent IMP1000 from DHGate on the 6/Mar/2012, and received the item on 30/Mar/2012 (approx just over 3 weeks: shipment from China Shanghai -> Perth, WA).
The online purchase experience was pleasant. Communication is prompt and responsive.
Just on the item alone, I received 4 separate emails in regards to the various status update.
Item was shipped on the same day and the company provided me with a tracking number via their online account mailbox.
Despite having some issues w/ the tracking number provided, which is probably not DHG's fault, but of China Post's, there were no issues w/ the shipment.
The packing included was appropriate bubble-wraped for protection, in addition, the item was wrapped tightly with outside with additional tape to prevent unwanted movement.
Overall, I am very happy w/ their service and would recommend this seller to other buyers on this product..
i've bought 3 separate items from different sellers on DHGate and Aliexpress, i got them ok and i would recommend them but be cautious at the same time, the item title can be considerably different to the actual item specifications(no doubt to spam search engines for more hits), my tip is to always chat online with seller before paying for the more expensive items anyway, payment is by escrow so if you don't receive item seller doesn't get paid, but unless you can open package & check item before signing it can be a 'lucky dip'!
I think DHgate are much like eBay or Alibaba, in that different sellers can list items there. It's up to you to check the seller's feedback history etc.
