Why DHGate banned? I've brought from there before and went ok?
I want to share this :(

I think you'll find they were spamming android tablet deals
Just saying
Near the end
Note: This is not original, this is made in china
I've republished the helicopter deal, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/44585
but dhgate continues to be banned for consistently spamming us (at least a couple times a day) and posting counterfeit items.
Thanks
OK - I was going to post a BuyInCoins coupon code recently, and found they are banned for spam too.
I've never even seen them post!
What is the definitition of "spam"? Posting more than one deal a day or something?
SPAM is a loose term that covers a number of things.
I'll speak specifically. DHGate creates an account, posts a link to a random product with a couple of nonsense sentences in a random part of the forum (new users have a 24 hour ban on posting deals). If one these accounts, does manage to post a deal on here, it's a random product with no price. In other words, they are just spamming a random product, not offering a bargain. Of course, none of them check the rep box.
As for buyincoins, it's a similar story although they don't spam us anymore. Here is an example title:
Buyincoins.com huge savings!!!!
The majority of their posts were affiliate links where it would give the user a discount (8-15%) and in turn rewarded the originating affiliate. If you Googled the description, it would show up on loads of other websites.
Ahhh - but then again, if the BuyInCoins posts were affiliate links, then that wasn't the SITE that was posting, eh?
True, it appears it wasn't the site but random 1 hit users spamming their affiliate discount codes. Over the course of 2 weeks in February we got hit with 6 posts with about the same discount offered in each post.
It looks something like this, http://www.retailmenot.com/view/buyincoins.com
Agreed that we should remove spammers like those affiliate dudes, that is definitely fair.
But it's really hard to work out if the sockpuppets are working FOR the site, or are simply opportunists who are taking advantage of a generous affiliate scheme.
I keep typing then deleting… I can't work out even a good suggestion LOL
.
yeah,DHgate is really a very nice and useful shopping site I ve ever seen.
^ LOL , My point exactly. Oh well, let's hope this thread will be a catchall for all the dhgate spammers.
Honeypot it the term you want…

Very cool interesting concept :-)
"What is Project Honey Pot?
Project Honey Pot is a distributed network of decoy web pages website administrators can include on their sites in order to gather information about robots, crawlers, and spiders.
We collate data on harvesters, spammers, dictionary attackers, and comment spammers. We make this data available to our members in order for them to protect their websites and inboxes."
EDIT: OHHH LOOK…
"What is a "comment spammer"?
Comment spammers do not send email spam. Instead, comment spammers post to blogs and forums. These posts typically include links to sites being promoted by the comment spammer. The purpose of these links is both to drive traffic from humans clicking on the links, as well as to increase search engine rankings which are sometimes based on the number of links to a page.
Project Honey Pot publishes a list of the top URLs, domains, and keywords being promoted by comment spammers. Project Honey Pot also publishes a list of the top IP addresses being used by comment spammers."
